And it's a thing of beauty! ♥ I have so much love for all the writers and my fellow artists-- believe me, there is some seriously, seriously brilliant stuff in there. I was so glad to (and in no small measure intimidated by) become a part of the team for the final bang! :D Love, cookies and BIG BIG THANKS go to Aja, Shaggy and Reena for pulling it all off. "What's with all the weird spots all over my face?" Ron says. "I look like a dirty bum!" Unfortunately for Ron, apparently freckled opera singers did not exist. To compensate, this one had large dots of brown stage-makeup as a substitute, looking as if he had stuck his finger in chocolate and then poked all over his own cheeks and nose. "You don't look that dirty," Hermione informs him kindly. "I actually think it looks more like a disease," Harry supplies helpfully, and Draco laughs. WARNING: This fic contains depictions of sexual dynamics that many readers may find extremely disturbing and traumatic.
The glossy handle of Harry's broom smashed hard into the tail of Malfoy's, and Malfoy spun out roughly while Harry found himself aimed directly for the ground at full speed, his broom completely unresponsive to his attempts to right himself. Malfoy righted himself soon enough, and turned to Harry just in time to see him barreling straight to earth.
He had meant to go at once, but as the summer months wore on, memorials and funerals had consumed his days. Besides, as everyone kept reassuring him, there was time now. There was nothing but time. None of that explained why he could not sleep, Harry knew, rolling over and staring once more at the ceiling.
Harry could almost hear the echo of her screech right before he went to sleep: He's dead! He's dead! Instead of yelling back at Mrs. Black and letting her have it for being a horrid mother, he'd just punched the wall repeatedly, breaking loose chunks of plaster and old paint only to Reparo it again when it was over. Ron hadn't said anything, of course.
"It's like a splinching," Blaise mused. "You just can't stop yourself watching. Would it be horribly trashy to start chanting 'duel, duel, duel'?" "Yes," Dennis and Natalie both said, nodding. Blaise nodded, as if he had suspected this. "You should do it for me then, munchkins." [...] "Let me punch him," Ron said to Hermione, who had both hands firmly fisted in his robes. "Come on, just once."

Table junkie? Me? WHY YOU MUST BE MISTAKEN.

Anyway - remember when I said, back here, that "actually there is more stuff"? This is what I was talking about ;D Happy birthday again, Lillithium! ;) ♥♥♥

And now I hope I'll have some more time to do non-fests related art! ...as well as what I still owe to rs_games for the second round. Those fest, they never end. Almost like Someone Saved My Life Tonight.

ha-WOW! All of them are beautiful. I realize now that we haven't seen much of Harry from you, have we. You've done a nice job with him... You are made of awesome. I know I've said it a thousand times but I still need to say it again. You are awesome. All those drawings are so masterfully done - I don't know anybody who can do charcoal art as stylish as you can.

I wish I could do as many pieces for you as you did for me, but RL is all consuming and I'm afraid I can't give you art of the same caliber as yours. You're getting the art I did for Big Bang, and that's for sure.
