Life is good. I went to the bookshop for the first time in ages, and I ascertained that:
  • Monteroso doesn't appear neither on shelves or databases, but I'm not losing hope. =)
  • Kilbrack has been translated in Italian! Kilbrack! A woman looked strangely at me when I squealed, but I couldn't help it. :D
  • Daniel Pennac wrote another book, and I just bought it!! Oh, I so love that man.
And Brunella wins for two to one!

that might be because stupid!Ni wrote it all wrong, did I write it like that all the time? *blushes*
It's Monterroso, not Monteroso :( Sorry.
And according to Internet his works have been trasnlated into Italian :)

And sorry that I wasn't faster to reply to your comments earlier today but that was LJ's fault for not sending me the email notifications :(

I'm glad you're having a good day. Have a lovely weekend *hugs*

Oh, don't worry.. I don't think the double r is the problem. I had already searched the whole section and the book wasn't there, I asked the clerk more as a formality than anything else. Rather, I'm afraid it's more like Mary Renault.. niche author, good but hard to find.

Come on, but you have been fast!

Un autore argentino di cui mi hanno parlato molto bene. ^^ Pero' non si trova..

Eheheh! Non hai ancora letto At Swim Two Boys, vero?
