...and coming back.
Oct. 30th, 2004 10:30 pmI'm not going to comment on the day spent in the fair as well - I prefer to wait for the photos, instead of saying the same things twice. =)
And, regarding the homeward travel, you're lucky. I was too restless, as well as booored, to write anything like the day before. ^^;

h 18:00
On the train.
h 18:22
Having bought a new pair of headphones yesterday (blinding red, too), now I have all, and I can listen to everything I want.
Ok, anything I have with me.
Ok, there is something in "Just a kid" that is catching me. This is the fourth time I'm listening to it.
h 18:23
Trying to grasp the lyrics isn't a smart thing to do. It leads me to close my eyes, and I don't want to fall asleep when I have another train to catch in less than an hour.
-- here I really tried to write down the lyrics, but seeing how the thing was becoming similar to a colander, I passed up. =P --
h 20:47
Reached one of the stations written on note. Crossed it out.
h 21:10
Crossed out next name, too.
Am bored. Tempted to listen to "Bored Out Of My Mind", then, but settled for DT's "Wait for sleep" instead. Fitting, this, too. I haven't listened to it in months.
h 21:20
Have been staring at my bag's pocket for the last five minutes. A little pocket. Which I didn't check before. And here, in front of my eyes, are THE HEADPHONES. Now, all together, repeat after me: "Brunella, you're an idiot. Brunella, you're an idiot. Brunella, you're an idiot..."
(To my credit, they are black, as well as the bag. Theywerehardtosee.)
And boredom produced a drabble.
The Order expects of Remus way more than what is his duty as member, and he knows it.
But his colleagues always fail to take into consideration a couple of facts.
First, he isn't capable of handling Sirius much more than what he was at Hogwarts. And while, during their last year and a half there, he did seem more subdued, it probably had more to do with a change in Sirius than in himself. So, with him changed again, the results aren't so predictable.
Which leads to the second point: the man who is now standing in front of him isn't Sirius. Not anymore. Therefore, every way he may have know with him is now probably ineffective.
But, above all, he isn't Sirius' master, neither Padfoot's.
It's not hard to see the truth. Just looking at him wandering around the house, with that haunted look in his eyes, is enough. Remus doesn't need to imagine what living in cage feels like.
And he doubts that anyone has the right to blame him, if he simply doesn't want to keep Sirius in check.
