Neverwhere

(Wow. Nothing like a good Math Analysis (Theory) class to dampen one's spirits. By the end of the first I was alternatively playing on repeat in my head Get Me Away From Here I'm Dying, or outright begging for mercy.)

Anyway! Few days ago I finally finished reading Neil Gaiman's Neverwhere. It took me forever, and surely not because I didn't like the book. Really, I'm hardly reading books at all anymore... but I'm (trying to) make up. I just started I'm Not Scared and I'm already halfway through it. And god, but I'm loving this book. Going back to the subject at hand, anyway, usually I post quotes... but not today.

Yeah, nevermind that there are at least two other things I should have done long ago and another one I should get started with, let's doodle some more! Oh, well. Originally, the first scene I'd thought of drawing was the one at the bus scene, but really, what I had in mind was a bit too complicated for me to do it in a short time. By the way, I read in the afterword that a tv series has been made out of the book... so, the "original" Lamia is probably different. My bad.

She's beautiful! I just read that book back in February, after having the poor thing sit around on my shelf for years. I'm horrible like that.. ^^;; *pokes stack of books to be read*
