ThingS. Of the thingS. Looks like there is a limit to characters in subject lines. (Well, yes, I was wondering...)

And this line was of, roughly, no interest at all.

So: I've been tagged for a couple of memes, and you have to blame these three girls, not me. :P

Things you enjoy, even when no one around you wants to go out and play. When you are mindless, bored, and need a way to suck away time. What lowers your stress/blood pressure/anxiety level? Make a list, post it and then, if you like, tag 5 friends and ask them to post it to theirs.

    So, let's see.

  1. Doodling, or sketching. There are little faces, or just little eyes, or little hands (doesn't this sound a little gruesome, now...), scattered all around my notes. Or rather, there would be if I didn't usually erase them after five minutes. Most of the times they're nothing elaborate, and they absorb me and relax me in a way "real drawing" doesn't. (Honestly, that can be so fucking frustrating. At least for someone as inexpert as me.)

  2. Reading. Reading anything, really. I think many people can understand me, when I say that whole hours can pass by with me not noticing at all.

  3. Being up, when it's late at night and no one else is awake. I love those moments, the way the house is silent but not empty. (Not that I do anything particular then, apart from reading sometimes or just looking at the tv, but I like the feeling.) I tend to associate them to the early hours of morning (meaning around 6, 7 a.m. - yes, willing or not, usually not, I'm up by that hour) and there's very few people around in the streets. There's a particular light, a particular atmosphere. I like, say, 10 a.m. much less.

  4. Sleeping. That has very often worked wonders, whether I'm tired, pissed off, or in a dark mood. (I like it the most - listen to me, I'm cataloging sleep... - when it's like a soft, padded thing, closed around you. It does tend to cling to you once you leave the bed, though.) Daydreaming before falling asleep is also an habit I never really grew out of. (The first who says I never grew out of anything gets a slap on the back of the head. :P)

  5. I was forgetting the most obvious of all... wandering on internet in general, and on LJs in particular. If that doesn't suck away way time (more than what it should, at least in my case), I don't know what does.

  6. I don't know if listening to music should be included in. After all, I do 9/10 of the time. It's more one of "my favorite things to do in life".

  7. Now that it's summer, and that the hot has eventually kicked in, one of the things I miss the most is long, hot showers. (Trust me, you don't want to come in the bathroom right after I've taken one of them.) But I love fresh ones all the same, so it's not so bad. :P

If you haven't done it yet... well, you're tagged.

And now...

List your current six favourite songs, then pick six other people that have to do the same.

  1. Ooooh, for many rather obvious reasons by now, Sentenced's Vengeance is Mine. Added bonus: ever since I recognized one line of the lyrics, I think of this, of you two, and I smile.

  2. Flogging Molly's If I Ever Leave This World Alive. First song I've learned the words to without reading the lyrics first. I bloody adore this song. I think I've listened to it more times than what is healthy.

  3. Boo Radley's Everything Is Sorrow and Cmon Kids. I always listen to them in this order, and one right after the other... so they're sort of a single song now. In my mind, at least. :P The first one, in particular, has nursed me many times in the last week.

  4. At this point I was going to mention the usual couple of songs by Subsonica, but the one that wins out... well, it's Negroamaro's Mentre Tutto Scorre. Oh, this song by now is tied to so many good memories. Almost every one of the times I went out and had fun, at some point of the travel to or fro I've sang it aloud with someone.

  5. I don't know why. I swear I don't know why, but Adicta's Poco a Poco exercises a great pull on me. Even if at this point it would maybe make more sense to post Gustavo Cerati's Traeme la noche, since the whole Air Band project sort of started from that. Or maybe Ataque 77's No Me Arrepiento which I've air singed in the bathroom (Don't. Ask.) one time too many.

  6. Should I mention Razorlight's Stumble and Fall? It's true, I haven't listened to it for a while now, but that's just because I'd listened to it far too many times before. :D Oh well, it does say "current favourite", so I guess I should just decide between Caetano Veloso's Te Vi and Snow Patrol's How To Be Dead. (Which are very different songs, mind you.)

And damn, but I have the feeling i've left out something important.

Oh, of course I cheated there, and ignobily to boot. I posted more than twice the number of songs I was supposed to. I didn't even try to be subtle (or apologetic) about it, too. :D Oh, since I'm here already, here's Adicta's Asfixia, too. I uploaded it for mistake, but since it's uploaded...

I've seen this meme around... and I thought I could adapt it to my case. I don't know if anyone will give a damn, but in case...

Ask me anything about my drawings and/or drawing process: inspiration, process, what the hell was I thinking, etc. No limit on questions, just ask away.

Vengeance is Mine kicks so much ass is not fair! I could listen to that song alone for hours! You make the wickedest connections! I love you!

It makes me happy to see lots of songs I love in your meme. Everything but Snow Patrol is fine with me :)

You should draw that idea you have about Stumble and Fall, it'd be a thing of beauty and pure joy.

Question about your art: Where are you hiding the cocks? :P Don't tell me you haven't drawn cocks, I know you're lying! Show me the cocks!

OMG 6:27am, I really should go to bed.

I LOVE YOU

Oh my god, I'm laughing so, so hard. The thing is: I've drawn only one cock, and you've seen (http://www.livejournal.com/users/kasche/60022.html?thread=211830#t211830) it. :D I swear that's the only one!

Hmmm... I definitely could do the S&F pic. :D For the moment I'm working on the Mrs.BlackDraftbunny that bit me something like 8 months ago, but after that... *scratches chin*

LOVE YOU!

Tee hee hee. :D

If you have more questions, though, ask away! You know I, er, tend to be a little talkative. *cough* No problem there. :D

Yeah, I did! Only, I was working on this female face and thinking of what it could become... and then I was all, 'hey, I never did that'. Will post it later today. :3

LOVE YOU! :D

*DOWNLOADS THE FLOGGING MOLLY SONG!!!* :Q

Question, huh? Hmm.. How did you decide what the characters look like? Did you base them on other characters or real life people? Or just pull 'em out of your ass (like me)? XD

(Did you listen to it? :D)

Hmmm. Well, usually when I read something I tend to imagine what I'm reading, so often 'my' character's faces are born there, maybe from hints in the text. Then again, I distinctly remember seeing a guy with the hair I give to Sirius, and I remember staring at it. (Yeah, just at the hair. It was a nice guy, too, but I only had eyes for the upper part. :P)

But more often than not... "just pull 'em out of my ass". :D

Mind your tone, young man, or you'll go to bed without dinner! :P

*thinks*

*looks at kitchen*

Scratch that. Mind your tone, young man, or you'll be forced to eat what I've cooked!

As for the serious answer: No, I'm just talking as well-informed person. :D
