Oh my! Thanks Crunchie it's about lunch-time here. The only thought makes me hungry.

I've seen a page of Halloween sweets, a while ago. Some looked tasty, but others... were a little little too creepy. Here, in my village, there's some talk of putting up a Halloween fest - and even of making themed candies. I really wish we won't end up making Witch's Fingers.

Ahh! You must! Halloween is slowly being smothered in this country (not in any substansial way, but enough) by all the evangelical Christians who don't want to support s "pagan" ie non-evangelical tradition.

Or at least in my area. But then I do live in what is termed the "buckle" of the Bible Belt.

Well.

That was the same first reason against the fest that I heard being formulated.

Then again, it was quickly put down by a "why, what do you think Christmas has become by now?"

They were cookies, probably made in marzipan, that looked like cropped fingers. There was a photo with a chestful of them. Creepy, I tell you!

I took a look, but I have no clue. :o
