Back to the regular world, then! Which means, woo-hoo, classes from 11 a.m. to 18 p.m. Joy. :P

Anyway, let me say that Anna is really one of the cutest persons EVER. :D And she's had much patience with me and my mistakes. :P You know when your cheeks start hurting by how much you've been laughing? There. I don't know how much Anna has said about these last few days, I haven't had a chance to check anything yet, so let me repeat the really important parts: Mythology and Erotica and Chocolate Festival. The italics are simply due to the importance of both. Damn, I was about to say "sod it all, I'll tell you something anyway", but I really can't, I haven't got the time. :( Tomorrow, then. Oh, yes, tomorrow. There are also things I can't say yet at all, and this is hurting me... but I will be strong. :P

And Liz. Oh, Liz. Thank you SO FUCKING MUCH. (There is also a thing I doubt you've seen and that I'll post in the near future.)

So, LOVE YOU ALL! and good classes to me. :P

ETA: I have a few minutes more, and how do I waste them? Writing things about monkeys. Because, you see, Liz got me this wonderful monkey puppet. (Photos will come.) Mum positively adored it too, so much that she even played with it - but I didn't want to talk about that. And surely you don't need to know how much I've taken after my mum. Anyway, the point was: this monkey came with a little leafnote, with a few lines about monkeys in general, and this little folktale from West Africa.

Did you ever look at a chimpanzee and wonder why they look and act, well, like you? It happened when Mahu was busy creating the animals out of clay. It was tedious work. She needed someone to lend a hand but there weren't many hands yet, only hooves and claws. Except for the monkeys. And so Mahu proposed a deal to a group of monkeys.

"If you work hard, I will put you with the human beings instead of the animals. You will change slowly as you work through this first day of the world." The monkeys were overjoyed. "Humans, they yelled, we're going to be humans!" They began shaping some clay and they began changing. At this, they became so excited that - can you guess? - they forgot all about work, and spent the rest of the day laughing and jumping for joy at their good fortune.

"Monkeys," said Mahu, "you are too lazy to be humans, but since you have become more like them now, I will give you a new name, chimpanzee, lazy man of the forest."

This is so ME I couldn't help laughing. No, seriously. For the moment I've also put it in the Blurb section in the sidebar, but it's too long, I probably will take it down. Or find some other way.

ETA2: One thing that made me very sad, though, was that at the Lindt stand I searched for the Meringue Chocolate and they didn't have it. :(

ETA2-bis: I also think that at that point I began explaining to Anna why I was searching for it, and got distracted by I don't know what else after about three words. You know, I sort of have this feeling. ^^;
