Mostly jittery stuff. If you're so curious to see that nerve under my eye twitch, do go ahead... )

And now the my USB-thingie isn't recognized by any of the computers at home. (No, ask me all you want, I do NOT want to format it. I just want the LOADS and LOADS of stuff saved there back, m'kay?)

WHY don't you recognize it, you %$£& piece of %&$/(? *stabbity stabbity*

On the up side, at least, a friend's boyfriend has asked me to put on MCs a couple of cds. Cds of tango music. One should have a video. This does make Bruni happy. (A marked improvement from that one time he asked me to do the same with a Michele Zarrillo cd... You don't want to know. Trust me on this.)

Aaah there were so many fics I hadn't read yet on it! Yes, I'm going to WHINE and WHINE about it. Nothing you can do. ;P

Just seen the video. Oh em gee. Tango is so up up up there on my DO IT OR DIE list. (I do have one. It's mostly mental - in more ways than one - but there you go.)

Whoops, Semagic told me today it's [livejournal.com profile] slash_it's birthday. I had, like, completely forgotten about it. I have a half-done sketch of Remus, I could fix it up... but it wouldn't fit with the, you know, theme. *scratches head*
On a rather unrelated note - unrelated to, well, nothing really, since I've just started the entry - I'm quite afraid I may be turning into a sap. Once my blood would have recoiled at the very thought. Now, I just look at myself and have a rather snorted laugh (yes, in my head this expression actually makes sense). Well, remembering just how much I used to love a song like this, then taking the cd out and realizing I like it still does give you a few ideas about yourself. I might be forced to rent the Phantom of The Opera just to be sure I'm not completely gone.

...

For the record, I find that movie one of the most boring things EVER. You know, if you had doubts. I really wouldn't be surprised if you had.

(God, not even the soundtrack saves it. Practically the same song over and over and over and over and over and over and over. I mean, it's a musical. A little creativity? Yes? No?)

Rather affable tonight, ain't I? :P Oh, and speaking of music, I finally listened to one of the best songs ever. Although I started to grin like a fool when I heard (well, listened AND read) I hope we come up with a failsafe plot To piss off the dumb few that forgave us (it might be worth mentioning  that the previous verses were I hope that our few remaining friends Give up on trying to save us), it was at:

Our friends say it's darkest before the sun rises
We're pretty sure they're all wrong

...that I hoped it was possible to hug and kiss a song.

I did have something to say when I started writing, but of course whatever it was now is nowhere to be found, so I might just cut this here and leave with a little taoist proverb for you. Cookies to anyone who recognizes where this comes from. With chocolate bits. The cookies, I mean.

If tomorrow, after tonight's victory, upon contemplating yourself naked in the mirror you'll discover a new pair of testicles, let not your heart fill with pride, my son, it simply means someone's screwing you.

No, Kirst, of course you're not allowed to answer. ;)

Heh! I'm planning to add (later rather than sooner, though) another one of those boxes with random phrases in the sidebar, this time with quotes from books and fics. Makes me wish I had the habit of writing down somewhere the memorable bits I stumble on. :P *long, suffering sigh* I will have to reread all my favorites fics, probably... Mwahaha.

Oh! There still three other postcards I'm going to post, but those will have to wait a while. Wouldn't do to post them before the recipients have seen them. ;) It might take a while, though, so you may not want to hold your breath.
