Okay. It's late at night, just got back from a (v. v. successfull) graduation dinner, I'm feeling fairly tipsy (but not too awfully much) and this morning I finally finished DH.

And about said Deathly Hallows, there is just one thing I really want to say.

TEDDY REMUS LUPIN? Oh man, thank god she made you die, I live IN FEAR of what she would have made you do if you hadn't. Died, that is. Oh man oh man oh man. You just don't fuction if you don't have Sirius around. I mean - TEDDY. TEDDY. REMUS LUPIN (which was bad already) NAMING HIS SON LIKE A TEDDY BEAR.

(Also, Teddy my dear, snog any girl you like. You've got your father's blood. You won't be doing that for long.)

And the epilogue. We do not talk about the epilogue.

(Was I the only one who thought that JKR made up a grand total of three names and kept using them again and again (and again and again and again)? I was pretty relieved to see that Ron had not named his own Fred. Poor, poor Albus Severus. He's going to need so much therapy once he grows up.)

Oh, and you know, I was mostly sold on the "Harry's got to die" theory - I was one of those who'd suspected it for quite a while. I would have bought it completely, if it wasn't for the fact that I kept fingering the pages left until the end. There were just too many of them.

And where the hell was Draco for most of the book? I was sincerely expecting to see a lot more of him.

For the record, there was only one character that was simply not allowed to die - and that was Neville. Oh, I've never loved the boy that much.

Hahaha! Monkey jeans. :D I'm sorry about the size! But you could still take it as an excuse to go back to London again, I suppose? ;) At least, they should fit right when they're fresh off the laundry, right?

As for me, I'm fine :D Well, aside from the swearing over the last part of K's gift. God, it just doesn't want to come out right.

Explain? :) I'm afraid I don't know what you are referring to.

Ah, it's okay. They're confy- they'll just be my too-big comfy jeans. I saved the banana paper tag that comes on them for you :D

Back in the 50s, girls and boys used to put their jeans on while lying in a bathtub with water. They would let the jeans dry to their bodies and the end result was that they were skin-tight. Maybe I shoudl try that... it's so hot out (36c) that they would dry very quickly.

You mean which pic I'm referring to, or there was something I said about the jeans that was unclear? If it was about "the last part of K's gift" - you know my last art post? There's still a "coming!" image. Which should have been replaced with the last image of the sequence a looong while ago. :P

Hahaha! You saved it for me, really? ;D You're just so cute. ♥

I... suppose you could try that? And you probably wouldn't have to fill the bathtub with hot water, so it should even feel nice. :D

The pics :) That's what I was referring to, but now I understand. I can't wait to see that last pic!

Oh Bruni, I am soooo not a mobile phone person until I got a brand new camera phone today and now I have to pick which Ennio Morricone piece I want as my ringtone. Ennio was my first choice :D

Hahaha! :D A friend gave me the cd of Morricone's The Mission, the other day. I so thought of you. ♥

Have you picked one yet? :D
