Finally, a book where the character I like most doesn't die.

Ok, he's not properly alive, so I don't really know if he could properly die at all, but.. well, he didn't.

Oh! I was forgetting..

"God does not play games with His loyal servants," said the Metatron, but in a worried tone of voice.
"Whoopeee," said Crowley. "Where have you been?"

Or:

He'd been an angel once. He hadn't meant to Fall. He'd just hung around with the wrong people.

Or again:

Many people, meeting Aziraphale for the first time, formed three impressions: that he was English, that he was intelligent, and that he was gayer than a tree full of monkeys on nitrous oxide. Two of these were wrong; Heaven is not in England, whatever certain poets may have thought, and angels are sexless unless they really want to make an effort. But he was intelligent. And it was an angelic intelligence which, while not being particularly higher than human intelligence, is much broader and has the advantage of having thousands of years of practice.

And a question. The man feeding the ducks is supposed to be God, right? But I was wondering.. he talks in the very same way Death does. Am I seeing too much in this?

My Inner Hero - Rogue!

I'm a Rogue!

It's a good thing I use my powers for good and not evil, because quite frankly, I could get away with murder. I'm clever, tricky, and charming. I know how to make you laugh with one hand and pick your pocket with the other. Not that I'd ever DO that, of course...

How about you? Click here to find your own inner hero.

The rest of the profile is funny as well, but it's too long, and I don't want to bother you further. By the way, I think it can be summarized by saying that I'm chaotic and probably also the class clown. And my mission? "You were put on this earth to humble people."

Good Omen is one of the best books EVER! I LOVE IT.

Jo sent it to me along with At Swim Two Boys, so I have something to help me get over the sadness *sighs* It worked wonders.

Oh, I can see that.. Good thing that I read it after The Persian Boy, in fact. *sigh* That book broke my heart.

But At Swim! Oh, At Swim. Such a Book, At Swim.

But really, Good Omens is the type of book where you really start laughing at the first line, and keep at least smiling (or smirking, depending on the case) until the end.

At Swim is a beautiful book, very sad book. I knew it was going to be sad, but it hit me hard all the same. But it holds a more personal and powerful meaning to me, somehow I owe it my friendship with Jo, and that's the most wonderful thing ever :)

Good Omen is amazing, incredible, fabulous. One terrific punch line after the other. It kills me. Gaiman and Pratchett are geniuses.

(it's five minutes that I'm staring at that icon.)

This is a proof of how At Swim made many wonderful things in its life.. :D

One terrific punch line after the other.
Absolutely! Time ago I run into a "quote page" of GO.. well, I think it was almost as long as the book itself.
