Finally, a book where the character I like most doesn't die.

Ok, he's not properly alive, so I don't really know if he could properly die at all, but.. well, he didn't.

Oh! I was forgetting.. it has become a custom to add a quote everytime I finish a book. )

And a question. The man feeding the ducks is supposed to be God, right? But I was wondering.. he talks in the very same way Death does. Am I seeing too much in this?

This has absolutely nothing to do with the rest, and it's stupid, so feel free to skip this part. I'm posting it just because it made me laugh. I've always known deep inside that I was a rogue. The role of the valiant knight with the shining armour never suited me. )
Right now, I'm the very happy owner of:

one "The Persian Boy", Mary Renault;

one "Kilbrack : A Novel", Jamie O'Neill;

one "The Last of the Wine", Mary Renault;

one "Good Omens", Neil Gaiman.

Well, virtual owner. I doubt I'll lay my hands on them before the first week of June.. *sigh*
